There are a variety ways that you or your group can contribute
to our program! Please email meg.hcpp@gmail.com if you are
interested in giving any the following.
• Office supplies (click
here for our wish list)
• Activity packs for children to keep busy when our
program is not there! Coloring books, crayons, card games,
stickers, mini notebooks and journals as well as school supplies
are always needed. • Healthy snacks (Each week it costs approximately $30 to
buy water, fruit, nuts or cheese and pretzels or crackers for 50
children) Plates, cups and water are needed too! This is a great
birthday present to a friend or family member to sponsor a snack
time. • Craft kits, art supplies and special activities
(paper,
colorful cardstock to make cards, stickers, creative crafts,
beads for making necklaces, etc.) fun things to make and do for

are always needed) • Target gift certificates (for HCPP to purchase supplies
for program or families) • Shower buckets (with children’s toiletries like soap,
toothbrush and toothpaste, flip-flops, etc.) • Clothes, shoes, and outerwear
(Although we do not have

etc.) • Moving van rental (to help families afford to move out
of the shelter once they find a home.) • Certified Public Accountant (CPA needed to help out
during tax time!) • Volunteer Support Fund (for snacks for volunteer

etc.)
Workplace Giving If your place of employment conducts an annual charitable gift
drive, please consider designating the Homeless Children’s
Playtime Project. as a recipient. We are currently applying for
United Way/CFC designation and will post the appropriate
designation number once we have completed the process. Check
back periodically for updates!
Matching Gifts If you are employed by, retired from, or a board member of a
business or organization with a matching gift program, you may
be able to double your donation to the Homeless Children’s
Playtime Project. Please forward the appropriate paperwork to
HCPP or contact our program administrator so that we may follow
up on your behalf.
Honorary or Memorial Gifts Tributes are a wonderful way to sustain the memory of a loved
one or mark an important occasion or distinction in a person’s
life. Donations in honor or in memory of a friend or family
member are acknowledged in specific accord with the donor’s
wishes. HCPP will send an appropriate letter to the individual
or family of the individual specified in the tribute.
Bequests or Special Gifts The Homeless Children’s Playtime Project welcomes bequests and
special gifts as another means of ensuring that our mission and
programs will continue into the future. As a certified 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization, HCPP can be named as a full or partial
beneficiary in a will, life insurance policy, retirement plan,
annuity or trust fund. We welcome the opportunity to discuss
this giving option and can provide copies of our tax-exempt
