Parent Support and Referrals
Through partnerships with area schools including the Catholic University School of Social Work, Bachelor- and Masters-level students help parents connect to resources in the community, including developmental assessments, baby supplies, help with transportation, job and job training resources, and housing. Students support partnerships that Playtime brings to our partner shelter sites with organizations such as Strong Start and Early Stages. Teens are also connected to resources that help them obtain services including mentoring, tutoring, glasses, school supplies, and other needs.
