Parent Support and Referrals
Through a partnership with the Catholic University School of Social Work, two Masters-level students help parents connect to resources in the community, like school uniforms, developmental assessments, baby supplies, help with transportation, job and job training resources, and housing. They support partnerships that HCPP bring to our shelters with organizations like Strong Start and Early Stages. Teens are also connected to referrals that help them obtain services like mentoring, tutoring, glasses, school supplies and other needs.
